It seems like recently there has been a lot of discussions that go like this “when I leave for college”. I still cannot wrap my mind around the fact that my first born could be leaving for college in about 2.5 years. As excited as I am so see her grow and mature into a beautiful woman I still would like to put the brakes on for a bit. Slow things down. Our schedules are anything but slow so when we get the opportunity to all be together we cherish it.
Today we had a request from the kids to have a family day. A rare thing in our house. We did. Phones and computers got turned off. We baked and cooked, we watched movies, we went to the mall, we lounged, joe worked on my new studio area and we loved on each other all day. The absolute best part was when Jill bought a necklace at the mall for her and Jordan. It made my heart swoon. My kids are not perfect! They fight, they argue, they aggravate each other but they also hug, protect, defend and love each other! It was a Happy Day and one I will cherish.

Ok here is the low down on my photo contest. You have to match the bride with her wedding day shoes. The first one to do this wins a $300 print credit towards prints or digital files. The $300 can also be used towards any 2012 wedding packages. The $300 cannot be used on re-orders, sitting fees or sessions taking place prior to 2012. Please read instructions carefully. In order to make it fair to everyone rules must be followed in order to win.

You are allowed to try as many times as you like, feel free to share this with friends and family. Contest begins Thursday (01/05/2012) at noon and will go on until we have a winner. Winner agrees to be published on Facebook along with their answers.
